All Saints' Thrift Shop Needs Help

All Saints' Thrift Shop Needs Help

by Sid Trevvett of All Saints' Episcopal Church in Redding

All Saints' Episcopal Church Thrift Shop is looking for your help.  The thrift shop business in Redding is getting very competitive!!!  Our donations are starting to come in at a slower rate.  We realize that there are many other thrift shops that are doing good things in the community, however, we are all experiencing the entry of the Goodwill Store to Redding.  This is like the Big Store guys coming into our town.  They have many drop off places for their donations.  We just ask that you remember All Saints' Thrift Shop when it comes time to discarding your clothes, children's clothes, kitchen items, cooking and dining items, household items, picture frames, and miscellaneous items.  The items we are unable to sell are given to several other local agencies who distribute them to those in need.  We are able to receive lamps, small tables, and small chairs.  Unfortunately, we are unable to take large items because we only have so much room.

Please remember we are an all volunteer group of 50 people and we have no paid employees.  The Thrift Shop is a ministry of All Saints' Episcopal Church.  Last year we were able to distribute more than $30,000 to agencies in the community and we want to continue in this ministry.

We appreciate the generous contributions you make to the Thrift Shop and your consistent support.

The Thrift Shop phone number is 530.223.2523. We are open Monday through Thursday from 10 AM to 4 PM and on Friday from 10 AM to 1 PM.  Click here to visit our website for more information.
