    Dear Friends in Christ, Once again it is my duty and privilege to invite you to the observance of a holy Lent. As we continue to make our on-going journey from glory to glory together, this Season now comes as an important invitation to a renewed intentionality about nurturing and deepening our spiritual life.   • Take the Bible Challenge!

Christine Leigh-Taylor, Chair, Christian Formation Commission Bishop Beisner is inviting the entire Episcopal Diocese of Northern California to take The Bible Challenge with him, beginning Epiphany 2013. The Bible Challenge is a year-long commitment of daily Bible reading that will lead participants to easily complete the whole Bible in one year.
