Camp Noel Porter Summer Updates

Camp Noel Porter Summer Updates

by Camp Noel Porter

Summer camp is winding down, and this is our last week. Let us remind you that the tents will remain up and the camp facility is available for retreat groups and churches that may want to take their families, youth or others for a mid-week or weekend camping trip… book now while there are still openings!

The retreat center is morphing from dorms for summer staff into retreat rooms. We are also making improvements on all of our rooms. They have all been repainted and they look great! Stay tuned for the furniture upgrades as well. Seriously, if you haven’t been to Camp Noel Porter (CNP) for a retreat you should consider it!

CNP is the Diocesan Retreat Center for the Episcopal Diocese of Northern California, and it is the perfect place for a vestry retreat, a women’s retreat, a spiritual renewal retreat and so many more activities. Our prices are reasonable and flexible. You have the choice of self-catering or using our caterer, and our break out rooms are available as a place for worship or for other activities. Plus it’s in Tahoe! Where natural beauty abounds!

And please plan on attending our fall “Light Up the Night” Gala. This is our annual fundraiser, but we like to think of it as a fun raiser. The Gala is Saturday, October 11, 2014 at St Michael’s, Carmichael. Tickets are $100.00 a person, or a reserved table can be purchased for $1000.00.

For tickets, to sponsor a table or be a Gold, Silver or Bronze Donor please visit www.campnoelporter.org or call 530-583-3014. The evening features a catered dinner, silent and live auction, the latest news from Camp Noel Porter and fun!
