Partners in Ministries of Health is hosting an event "Challenging the Epidemic of Violence" on Saturday, March 14, 2015 from 9:30 a.m.– 4:30 p.m. at Church of the Epiphany in Vacaville. The registration deadline to attend this event is Wednesday, March 11th.

Where do you see violence in your communities and congregations? Or in your own lives? Would you like to find ways to meet the challenges of our epidemic of violence? Speakers and discussions on these topics will be presented: Bullying & Harassment, Family Violence, Gun Safety, Violence as a Public Health Threat (with a focus on Suicide Prevention) and Human Trafficking. The award winning documentary film In Plain Sight will be shown to raise awareness of the thousands of women and children who are forced and deceived into the commercial sex trade in plain sight within our communities.
