The Vocal Art Ensemble presents: Voices of Innocence: wonder • hope joy

Friday, November 22, 2013 7:30 pm

The Trinity Cathedral Music Series presents the Vocal Art Ensemble as it leaps into a choral playground of expressive music, stirring up the pure and precious emotions of childhood. Vivacious ethnic pieces from Serbia and Africa walk hand-in-hand with honored composers John Sheppard and Stephen Foster, as well as living legends Morten Lauridsen and Arvo Pärt. Diverse instruments, vocal textures, and visual play are all presented with VAE's signature polish and meticulous attention to detail. To embody the child's viewpoint, we offer the budding talents of our children, whose instrumental exuberance and unbridled voices celebrate generations of cherished musical experience. Relish the moment with VAE's Voices of Innocence.

Suggested donation is $6-20. Trinity Episcopal Cathedral is located at 2620 Capitol Avenue at 27th Street in midtown Sacramento. Parking is often available on the street, or in the Sutter Community Garage at 27th and N Streets.
