Canticle 18

“you created everything that is,
and by your will they were created and have their being;
And yours by right, O Lamb that was slain,
for with your blood you have redeemed for God
from every family, language, people, and nation,
a kingdom of priests to serve our God. “

SUCCESS STORY

The Sanctuary Covenant Church, Minneapolis: www.sanctuarycov.org

The vision of this church is to be a multiethnic, relevant, urban, holistic, Christ-centered community. The Story: SuperBowl Sunday, 2003, Efrem & Donecia Smith gathered a few dozen people in a basement for a SuperBowl Party and began sharing a vision of bringing hope, justice, and movement of a reconciliation in the heart of North Minneapolis. Together, they ate shared meals, shared each other's stories and the Sanctuary began to grow rapidly. Over the years, many things have changed. And, many things have stayed the same. We're still driven by God's love to grow a movement of reconciliation starting in north minneapolis and moving beyond.

Currently, we meet for two identical Sunday worship experiences at 9 & 11am at Anwatin Middle School and we're constantly working to provide opportunities to get people connected and to help you make your next move on your life journey with God.
