Full Time Rector Position
for Faith Episcopal Church in Cameron Park
Faith Episcopal Church in Cameron Park, California, is currently looking for a full time Rector to lead our unique, program-sized church. The Rector will provide consistently excellent preaching, lead the church to reach out to the unchurched, deal with critical issues, move our church forward, communicate effectively, focus on ministering to families with children, call and support members for ministry in lay leadership roles, create ministries that serve persons living on the margins of society, and help us continue to create and expand our community. The Rector shall have a moderate theological perspective and employ an eclectic approach to leadership development, effectively use a wide variety of resources across the theological and denominational spectrum, be knowledgeable about the dynamics of program-sized and resource-sized churches and their opportunities for ministry, and seek out the latest effective strategies and tactics for dealing with a church culture characterized by flexibility, religious experience, and conversion.
