  • Freedom Ride & Moral Monday in NC

    by Anne Clarke, Co-Leader, 2015 Freedom Ride; Lifelong Christian Faith Formation Coordinator, The Episcopal Diocese of Northern California  One of the texts used in preparation for the pilgrimage has been the movie Selma, which tells a 50-year-old story of people uniting against discriminatory voting practices. Unfortunately, that story is not over. While we are in North Carolina, citizens have again united to protest laws that seek to block people of color from voting.
