In the Ordination Process?

If so, you may have questions about what you need to do.

The Commission on Ministry liaison is a valuable resource for you. If you are unsure of the process or have questions, contact your liaison.

The intent of this webpage is to provide you with information about required training and access to the forms you need as you move from postulancy to candidacy and then to ordination.

You may send completed paper documents to the Office of the Bishop through the mail. Please send them to the attention of the Ordinations Process Coordinator. If you send paper documents, be sure to keep a copy for yourself. You may also send scanned documents electronically to the Ordination Process Coordinator’s e-mail address.

Send documentation of required training in the following areas to the attention of the Diocesan Ordination Process Coordinator:
 - Prevention of sexual misconduct;
 - Civil requirements for reporting and pastoral opportunities for responding to evidence of abuse;
 - Church’s teaching on racism;
 - Community Development Training course – required for deacons
 - Demonstrated ability to conduct a service in a foreign language (sign language is accepted) – required for priests
