Are You leaving a Legacy or a Mess?

Are You leaving a Legacy or a Mess?

Find Out if You Have Everything in Order

by Marcie Larkey, Vice President of the Episcopal Foundation of the Diocese of Northern California

Planning for after you’re gone is difficult for most people; if it is difficult for you, you are not alone. A few hours of your time and effort now will save your family from a lot of heartache later.

This lively workshop will include discussions on many topics: organizing those important papers; making end-of-life choices; leaving the necessary information for your funeral and obituary; planning for your adult or underage children; writing love letters to your family; preparing your Advance Directive and the new POLST form; understanding Hospice; donating your organs; and addressing the importance of a will or a trust.

Speakers include: Dean Brian Baker, Darren Bogie, and Marcie Larkey. To reserve your place call Trinity Cathedral at 916.446.2515 or sign-up Sunday at the Welcome Center. Admission is free but participants are asked to make a small donation and to bring a three-ring binder with 15 dividers.

For more information call Katherine Keeney at 916.281.8781.

Your family and friends are welcome to attend!
