Living Compass at Trinity

Living Compass at Trinity

by Susan Wahlstrom, Diocesan Health Ministries Coordinator and Parish Nurse for Trinity, Sutter Creek

Jesus calls us to wellness:

“Love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your mind and with all your soul, and with all your strength.”  - Luke 10:27

In living out Jesus' call to wellness, Trinity, Sutter Creek is wrapping up a pilot, six-week “Living Compass” wellness program.  Comments by participants reflect their experiences:

“Living Compass puts light on some blind spots in our lives and provides gentle guidance to improve.”

“Living Compass is a safe, caring place to share points on my compass that need to be changed.”

“The dialogue that happens with Living Compass helps to set us in a direction we might not have thought of before.”

“Living Compass opens the door to real meeting and dialogue.”

“I feel that after 14 years of being Trinity family together, that through this Living Compass program I know all of you in a deeper and more spiritual way.”

The Living Compass program creates the opportunity for you to pause and check your bearings on your life’s journey, and to explore the questions, “Am I heading in the direction that I desire for myself?” and “Am I heading in the direction that God desires for me?" Adjustments to the direction in your life can be made.  For more information go to: www.LivingCompass.org.
