Lori Korleski Richardson joined the Office of the Bishop as Interim Communications Director in March 2017.
She has been a journalist for more than 30 years, and has worked at three Pulitzer Prize-winning newspapers (The Sacramento Bee, the St. Petersburg, Fla., Times and the Dallas Morning News) as a copy editor and writer. Most recently, she has worked as a contract freelance editor for the Episcopal News Service and lead writer for The Sacramento Bee’s 2016 Book of Dreams Christmas charity drive.
She is an accomplished cook and amateur caterer who has prepared meals for up to 2,000 people. She has taught gymnastics and is a certified Professional Ski Instructors of America downhill ski instructor. She and her husband, the Rev. James Richardson, have lived in their Land Park home for more than 20 years, which their 4-year-old miniature poodle, Mia, graciously shares with them.
