The Rev. Dr. Fox, formerly a priest in the Dominican order of the Roman Catholic Church, challenged the Church with his outspoken ideas and criticism of the Vatican’s status quo on timely and controversial issues. Later, his expulsion from the Dominican order for “disobedience,” led to his reception as priest in The Episcopal Church in 1994, and his founding of educational and spiritual educational enterprises. The Rev. Dr. Fox continues to lecture, write and publish books. To learn more about the Rev. Dr. Fox, please visit his website at www.matthewfox.org.

This event is the first of a speaker’s series being launched by Trinity Cathedral, Sacramento and will kick off a six-week, small group discussion and study series that welcomes Trinity Cathedral parishioners and community participation. The series of small group meetings will delve more deeply into the theme of “blessing,” and will continue through the season of Lent. To learn more about these small group discussions, please visit the Trinity Cathedral website at www.trinitycathedral.org in early February 2015, for specific dates and times. For more information about this and future events, please contact the Rev. Dr. Pamela Anderson via email at pamela@trinitycathedral.org.

This event is also the day before the CLC at Faith Episcopal Church in nearby Cameron Park. Attendees traveling to the area would be able to attend both events.
