The Center for Bible Study presents their one-day "Off the Shelf" Conference on Saturday, September 27, 2014 from 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at St. Augustine of Canterbury Episcopal Church in Rocklin. This special event is focused on effective personal and group Bible study, and is sponsored by the Central Deanery.

Cost: $10.00; includes lunch

Workshops will be offered on the following subjects:

- Reading the Bible Responsibly: Scripture through the Lens of Jesus; led by Brandon Frankabandera
- The World of the New Testament; led by Katie Atkinson
- The House of the LORD Forever--Temple study; led by Richard Rohlfing
- From Dietrich Bonhoeffer To Our Study of The Bible; led by Brian Lucas
- These People are Crazy: Embracing Imperfection In Group Bible Study; led by Aubrey Miller

The Rev. Peter Rodgers will lead an opening plenary session called “Six Questions to Ask When Interpreting a Bible Passage.”

The conference is organized by the Center for Bible Study, a new ministry of the Diocese of Northern California, based at St. Andrew’s, Antelope. Aubrey Miller is the Director of the Center for Bible Study and the Rev. Peter Rodgers is the Supervising Pastor.
