    The Office of the Bishop is pleased to announce that Sandra Littman joined the Office of the Bishop Staff as Administrative Assistant to the Bishop on December 17, 2015. Sandra is an administrative support professional, and has been working in this field for the past fifteen years. She will be in charge of scheduling and meeting coordination for Bishop Beisner, as well as managing the Bishop's visitation calendar.

    Dear Friends in Christ, Grace and peace to you, as once again we come to Christmas. Once again, we are invited to the stable and to the manger. We, who are moved by the plight of Syrian refugees, troubled by the rising tide of violence in our homeland, concerned about the health of our planet or find this a time of struggle or loss, see that God has already reached out to us, as we reach out to God for help.

    The Office of the Bishop is pleased to announce that on June 26th Colleen Morrison joined our staff as the new Administrative Assistant to the Bishop! Colleen recently relocated from the Washington State Olympic Peninsula, where she was an active member of St. Bede Episcopal Church in Port Orchard.

    Bishop Michael Curry Elected as 27th Presiding Bishop The Rt. Rev. Michael Bruce Curry, Bishop of The Episcopal Diocese of North Carolina, was elected as the 27th Presiding Bishop of The Episcopal Church today, June 27, 2015, at the 78th General Convention in Salt Lake City, Utah.

    The Office of the Bishop is pleased to announce that on May 26th Jacqi McKinney joined our staff as the new Administrative Assistant to the Canon to the Ordinary! Jacqi is originally from Orange County, California and moved to San Francisco in 2004 to complete her BA in Creative Writing at San Francisco State University. She also has a Masters Degree in Library and Information Science (MLIS) from San Jose State University.

    by The Episcopal Diocese of Northern California   The spring meeting of The House of Bishops of The Episcopal Church was held March 13-17, 2015 at Kanuga Conference Center in Hendersonville, NC. Bishop Barry Beisner joined bishops from The Episcopal Church for this event. "Fostering a culture of curiosity, compassion and courage in Christ" was the theme for this gathering.
