  • Independence Day Office Closure

    The Office of the Bishop will be closed in observance of Independence Day on Monday, July 4, 2016.     The Office of the Bishop is pleased to announce our new Benefits and Office Coordinator for The Episcopal Diocese of Northern California, Tamoya Brewster! She will begin this new role on March 1, 2015. Tamoya has been with the Office of the Bishop since June 2012, most recently serving as Office Coordinator and in other Admin & Finance roles.

    The Office of the Bishop welcomes Elsa Dooling to our staff as the new Communication Support Agent! Elsa will be responsible for the Online News Room on the diocesan website, the diocesan electronic newsletters and providing support for diocesan events. Elsa comes to us with a rich and diverse background with a strong concentration in nonprofit administration, communications, business management, community organizing, writing and teaching.

  • Staffing Transitions

    Jenifer Campo, executive assistant to Bishop Barry Beisner for the past six years, has accepted a position with Principal Funds, an asset management company in El Dorado Hills, where she will provide support to the director of marketing. While she is excited about this new step in her personal journey, she will miss her many friends and colleagues in our diocese. Jenifer's last day at the Office of the Bishop will be September 4th.

  • Spring Staffing Changes

    by Keri Lopez, Director of Communications   This Spring will bring a few changes to the Office of the Bishop staff. Caitlin Gutenberger, who has so wonderfully served as the diocesan Communications Coordinator/News Editor for the past year and a half, will be leaving us to further her music career. As many of you may know she is both a member of her own band, Two Sheds, which plays locally, as well as with a band called Release the Sunbird (RTS), which has recently gone on tour nationally!
