St. Michael’s Episcopal Day School in Carmichael launched iMAST, an Integrated Math, Arts, Science and Technology Project in 2010. This project was specifically designed to expand the school’s educational program, with greater emphasis on math, science, technology and the performing arts, to enhance the development of the necessary critical thinking skills for 21st Century learners.

On Tuesday, January 3, 2012 a ground breaking ceremony was held, with a blessing of the building site and the project by the Rt. Rev. Barry Beisner, Bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Northern California (pictured third from left). This ground breaking begins the building phase of a 9,600 sq. ft. multipurpose structure that should be completed by August 2012.

As a member of S. John's School Board I was very pleased to read about the success at St. Michaels.
Pray that St. John's school can find ways to move forward as we search for a location for our school.
