Stop Hunger Now Event

"Join us in this fun family activity," said Jim Quinney, chair for the Stop Hunger Now international meal-packing event at St. Augustine Episcopal Church, 1800 Wildcat Blvd., Rocklin, on Saturday, March 22nd from 9:00 - 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 - 3:00 p.m.

This program is a volunteer-based effort where participants package high protein and nutritious dehydrated meals for crisis situations around the world. Anyone interested in taking part in this enjoyable event can register on the Church's website:  www.staugustineepiscopal.com.

Fundraising will be community-wide, and Church volunteers hope to raise enough money to pay for the 20,000 meals they'd like to pack. Each meal costs just $0.25, and even a small donation of $25.00 would provide 100 meals. If you would like to donate, please make checks payable to "St. Augustine Episcopal Church" and mail them to 1800 Wildcat Blvd., Rocklin, CA 95765, or bring them to the 10:00 a.m. service on Sunday.
