Volunteers will fill high-protein meal bags, which include rice, soy, dehydrated vegetables and a flavoring mix with 23 essential vitamins and minerals. The international relief organization provides millions of nutritious meals and other life-saving aid to families all over the world. "Help us raise $11,600 and pack 40,000 meals!" exclaimed Quinney. Contributions are always welcome, and fund-raising will be community-wide. Volunteers hope to raise enough money to cover the cost of this goal, and every gift will help. A donation of $25.00 provides approximately 86 meals.

To donate, make checks payable to either St. Augustine Episcopal Church or St. John's Episcopal Church with Stop Hunger Now on the memo line. Mail to St Augustine Episcopal Church, 1800 Wildcat Blvd., Rocklin, CA 95765 or St. John's Episcopal Church, 2351 Pleasant Grove Blvd., Roseville, CA 95747.

Registration forms for participation are on the website of both churches: www.staugustineepsicopal.com for Rocklin and www.stjohnsroseville.org for Roseville, or call (916) 435-9552 for more information.

"Everyone age 4 and up is invited to take part in this fun intergenerational family activity," said Quinney.
