Successful Opening Market

Successful Opening Market

by St. Francis' Episcopal Church, Fair Oaks

On Tuesday, March 17th, the Episcopal Senior Communities’ Senior Produce Market opened its doors at Saint Francis' Episcopal Church (also known as Saint Francis Church Center) in Fair Oaks. Over 70 shoppers came on opening day! When the market opened for business, we were thrilled to greet a mixture of familiar and new faces.

Susan Peters, our Sacramento County Supervisor and Bob Clouse, the Honorary Mayor of Fair Oaks, were both present to witness such a wonderful outpouring of love and care between the parish of Saint Francis and its neighbors. We could not have done all of this without our many volunteers, friends, and local communities who support our vision of supplying all our neighbors fresh, locally grown produce for a better life. As the market grows we will have chefs who demonstrate preparation of quality meals.

The market will be open every Tuesday from 10:00 -11:00 am at Saint Francis Church Center in Fair Oaks. Everyone from across Sacramento and neighboring suburbs are encouraged to stop by and shop for quality produce at discount prices!
