Support Vacaville Community Meals

Support Vacaville Community Meals

by Margaret Dunning, Epiphany Episcopal Church in Vacaville

For more than 12 years, Epiphany Episcopal Church has been providing free hot, nutritious meals to the hungry, homeless, elderly, and lonely of Vacaville. Every Friday evening the Community Meal program serves between 200 and 300 dinners in a friendly, caring, and non-judgmental atmosphere. The church is now partnering with five other faith communities: Unity Church of the Valley, Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church, St. Mary’s and St. Joseph’s Catholic Churches, and Community Presbyterian Church. With your help, we hope to soon begin serving dinners on an additional night each week.  On Saturday, May 12th from 2 – 5 pm we will be holding a fund raising event at the Buck Mansion in Vacaville.
