Welcoming the Stranger Resources Online

Welcoming the Stranger Resources Online

by Lynn Zender, Chair, Welcoming the Stranger Task Force

Is thinking about getting involved in immigration reform or in refugee re-settlement? The Welcoming the Stranger Task Force now has dedicated resource pages on the diocesan website. If your congregation does want to get involved in immigration reform or in refugee re-settlement, there are many resources and ideas to get you started.

Welcoming the Stranger is guided by the work of the Episcopal Migration Ministries of The Episcopal Church, and aims to find tangible and practical ways to help address and raise awareness for the needs of refugees, immigrants, and all people suffering as a result of oppression, injustice, and terror in the world.

Contact information for the Task Force is also available on this resource page, for questions or if you want to connect with us. We would love to welcome more members on our task force! Join us as we aim to follow in the Jesus movement and help our neighbor, the stranger, in their time of need.
