Why Structure Matters: Getting Endowment Structure Right

Tue, October 23, 2012

Getting the structure of your endowment right is often the key to its success. If you want to encourage legacy gifts to your endowment, you need to be able to explain how the money will be used, invested and spent, and who is in charge of making those decisions. This web conference will be held Tuesday, October 23, 2012 from 3:30 PM - 4:30 PM. There is no charge to participate. Once you have registered, ECF will email you call-in instructions and instructional materials for the webinar. This webinar will be led by ECF's Program Director, Terri Mathes. Terri made her first fundraising call when she was eighteen years old. Since joining ECF in 2006, she has managed a wide range of successful campaigns, from small parish appeals to multimillion dollar diocesan projects. She designed and implemented the first church-wide Internet based appeal in the Episcopal Church, which raised over $2.8 million to help rebuild Holy Trinity Cathedral after the 2010 earthquake in Haiti and garnered the broadest participation since the 1980s. A life-long Episcopalian, she attends St. Paul’s Cathedral in San Diego California. If you have any questions, please email Giving@episcopalfoundation.org or call Jim Murphy at 800-697-2858.
