Women Together Serving Christ

Women Together Serving Christ

by Gaye Ann McWade of the Commission of Women’s Ministries

The Commission of Women’s Ministries motto is, “Women Together Serving Christ” and we believe it is all our work to help and support one another.

The Commission of Women’s Ministries’ work is to support and serve Episcopal Churchwomen through education, encouragement, and grant funds for outreach in their communities.

We are hosting a Women’s Gathering Day on September 22 with a theme of: Celebrate The Capable Woman! These words are highlights from Proverbs 31:10, “Who can find a capable woman? She is more precious than jewels.

The Gathering Day, September 22, will be at St. Luke’s, Woodland.
All women are invited to learn and share.
Stay tuned for more details.

We will be showcasing the first three recipients of our Spring Women’s Ministries’ grants, each from a different church, doing unique outreach ministries specific to women’s needs. The monies granted were from the seed-money funds collected by Women’s Ministries over the past several years. Those funds will be restored and combined with those received from our new Labor Day Annual Appeal and will be designated for annual use as grant funds.

The Commission of Women’s Ministries motto is, “Women Together Serving Christ” and we believe it is all our work to help and support one another.

Information envelopes have been mailed to each rector at each congregation. Please post our announcements, share our fliers, tell our story, and give generously to Women's Ministries. This information is also on our website: www.norcalcwm.com.
