This private, FUN, confidential support group is based on Robin Norwood’s book, "Women Who Love Too Much." The group is designed to help women who are attracted to people who are not emotionally healthy or available. The unavailability of the person who they are trying to relate to may have issues with alcoholism, fear and avoidance of intimacy, or inability to form lasting relationships. A “woman who loves too much†is often caught in a dilemma of trying to fix the inner issues of an intimate relationship, relative, child, or co-worker. Women in this dynamic tend to invest in a negative relationship even if in reality they should move on. They often give too many second chances and hold onto irrational hope that things will change or get better. A woman who loves too much will keep giving without getting anything in return. Each private, confidential support group meeting relates positive information about positive relationships, communications skills, and boundaries. Facilitated by Nancy Kilgore, M.S., national author and presenter on women’s issues, www.thethrivingwoman.org. When: Every Tuesday night, 6:30pm - 8:00pm; Where: Trinity Cathedral, 2620 Capitol Ave., Sacramento, CA 95816; Cost: $65 for four meetings, and includes beneficial handouts, information, and chocolate. ONE FREE MEETING. To reserve space or more information, please call (916) 498-8494.
