Title: Making Disciples – the Church’s Way

Description: This workshop explores the way Christians have formed fellow Christians throughout the ages. The catechumenate is not only our way to prepare new members to say “Yes!” to the question “Do you accept Christ as your Savior?” It is also the way for us, the Church, to re-new our “Yes!” Baptismal covenant is for all. How do we get there—the new and the re-newed? “Come, follow me” and hear about the Church’s tried and true way.

Title: Beyond Performance – Paperless Music-Making

Description: A hands and voices-on learning exploration of the practice of paperless music-making, a practice that renews ancient practices of teaching and learning music by ear and by heart for today’s liturgy. Music is essential to rich, satisfying worship. Making music together forms people in community, builds trust, honors leadership, teaches good learning practices, and fosters creativity, all marks of significant spiritual practice. Participants will learn by doing and reflecting together on the shared work of congregational singing.

Title: Forming Disciples, Not Running Committees

Description: One of the implications for the Church as the People of God in Exile is a shift in a focus on people development rather than simply running programs. A ministry will only be as effective as the health of the people involved in that ministry, This workshop will help you examine the "pinch points" of a ministry and develop a strategy for bringing health to that ministry.

Title: Building for the Future: Capital Campaigns That Renew Our Church
