DESCRIPTION:Virtual Workshop |  9:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. | Register here  \nFor More Information contact Miriam Casey. edncbbc@gmail.com \nThis workshop is rooted in our baptismal identity and the promises we make in baptism.  It focuses on how we can more fully live into our promise to be more loving toward our neighbors.  During the workshop we follow the path of the Becoming Beloved Community labyrinth. \n– We learn the truth about the history of Native Americans\, African Americans\, Latinx\, and Asian American/Pacific Islanders in our country and about the racism they encounter in our society today. \n-We imagine what it would be like if the injustices and inequalities associated with racism were not present in our society. \n-We contemplate ways we can grow in our capacity to be more loving and engage in our communities to address racism.- \n-We consider where there are opportunities to repair the breach created by racism in our communities. \n* This workshop meets the requirement for licensing for Lay Eucharistic Ministers and Visitors in the Diocese.  Other lay licensed ministries need to take Sacred Ground to meet Diocesan licensing requirements.  Contact Jo Ann Williams\, bjwilli@surewest.net\, for more information.
