2026 Convention Keynote Speaker
Bishop Justin Holcomb

The Rt. Rev. Dr. Justin S. Holcomb was ordained and consecrated as the fifth bishop of the Diocese of Central Florida on June 10, 2023. He was elected at a special Diocesan Convention on Jan. 14, 2023.

A native Floridian, the bishop earned his Ph.D. in theological studies from Emory University and has both a Master of Arts in theological studies and a Master of Arts in Christian thought from Reformed Theological Seminary as well as a B.A. in biblical studies from Southeastern University. He also studied at the University of Oxford during the summer of 1996.

The bishop teaches theology and apologetics at Reformed Theological Seminary, Orlando. He previously taught at the University of Virginia, Emory University, Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary and Agnes Scott College and has served as a visiting professor at Nashotah House Theological Seminary and Westminster Seminary California. He has also written or edited more than 20 books on abuse, historical theology and biblical studies.

Prior to serving in the Diocese of Central Florida, he was a professor at the University of Virginia, served as a priest at a parish in the Episcopal Diocese of Virginia, was an executive director of an interdenominational ministry, served as the director of graduate ministries at the Center for Christian Study in Charlottesville, Virginia, and held various other ministry positions.

He is married to Lindsey Holcomb, with whom he helped co-found REST in 2009. The Holcombs have co-authored seven books, and together they have two daughters, Sophia and Zoe.
