Jacqi is originally from Orange County, California, and she moved to San Francisco in 2004 to complete her BA in Creative Writing, with a minor in Anthropology, at San Francisco State University. She completed her studies in 2009, graduating with a Masters Degree in Library and Information Science (MLIS) from San Jose State University.

She joined the Office of the Bishop Staff in May 2015 as Administrative Assistant to Canon Andrea McMillin and became Executive Assistant to the Bishop in 2017.

Jacqi enjoys spending most of her free time reading, writing and talking about food. She also enjoys teaching people about the contemplative practice that tea can bring into their lives.
