Full-Time Priest-in-Charge | St. Patrick’s, Kenwood

Location: Kenwood, California

Website: https://stpatrickskenwood.org

Receiving names until 7/31/2024

Nestled among the vineyards of Sonoma County, our mission statement is
“To be a community that shares the joy of God’s love.” We incarnate that mission through worship, welcome, community service, education, pastoral care, friendship, and, not surprisingly, joy.

St. Patrick’s is a relatively recent congregation (we dedicated our present building in 1982) and our liturgical roots lie firmly in the 1979 Book of Common Prayer. Our Sunday and Wednesday services are Rite II. Sunday Eucharist is festive and choral, while Wednesday Eucharist with healing is contemplative and conversational.

We are looking for one who is enthusiastic about diversity, racial reconciliation, and care of the natural world. We have opportunities for elder ministries as our nearest neighbor is Oakmont Village, an active adult community with over 4,000 residents.

To apply, please send resume, cover letter and Office of Transition Ministry (OTM) profile to the Rev. Julie Wakelee, Canon to the Ordinary, Diocese of Northern California, julie@norcalepiscopal.org by July 31, 2024.

Diversity & Inclusion Statement

We are a community rooted in the promises made at baptism to “seek and serve Christ in all persons, honoring our neighbor as ourselves,” and to “strive for justice and peace among all people, and respect the dignity of every human being.” As such, diversity, equity, and inclusion are core values of the Episcopal Diocese of Northern California and are embraced as key practices to thriving and faithful life as the Church.
