Migrant Support Network

Our Mission

Solidarity

The Episcopal Diocese of Northern California stands in solidarity with immigrant and refugee communities, rooted in our scriptural call to “welcome the stranger” (Matthew 25:35). We affirm the dignity of every person and advocate for policies that protect families and uphold justice. This page offers resources to support your ministry and outlines our diocese’s stance amid evolving immigration challenges.

Stance of The Episcopal Church

The Episcopal Diocese of Northern California aligns with the broader church’s advocacy for comprehensive immigration reform, including protections for DACA recipients, Temporary Protected Status (TPS), and refugee admissions. In June 2025, our bishop joined California’s six Episcopal dioceses in condemning federal ICE raids and National Guard deployments in Los Angeles, stating:

“We stand for fierce love and justice that leads to peace. We will speak and pray on behalf of all affected by these policies.”
